Seafarer (ENG1) Medical
The seafarer (ENG1) medical is required to work on a ship, vessel or boat. It is used as an indicator of the level of fitness required to work at sea. It is used for all boats going a certain distance from shore. We can also provide another type of medical (the ML5) if required, this is for boats that are sailing close to shore or not at sea. The medical standards are set by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency. The certificate lasts a maximum of two years.
